The story behind presco
Precision Stamping Company started with one man, one press, and a vision.
In 1946, a WWII-trained toolmaker saw opportunity: the workforce was returning home from the war, and manufacturing was booming.
Armed with a Waterbury Farrel press, a garage, and a whole lot of grit, he turned a one-man Michigan business into a critical supplier for the new manufacturing companies emerging throughout the Midwest.
THREE GENERATIONS LATER...
That one-man shop has grown into a 75,000 sq. ft. facility—one of the nation’s leading producers of deep-drawn stamping and progressive die work. But even with that scale, we’ve never strayed from our roots. Since our start, the promise hasn’t changed:
